How long does the alterations process normally take from start to finish? - 12 to 14 weeks to work on a wedding gown if it is needing a full set of alterations. Brides will have a minimum of three fittings. - 4 to 6 weeks on bridesmaids, mother of the bride and any formal gowns.

How long does each appointment take? - First fittings for wedding gowns can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour and fittings after the first are usually about 30 minutes. - Bridesmaid, mother of the bride or any formal dress appointments take about 25 minutes.


What items do I need to bring to my fittings? - Any undergarments being worn with the dress, because they will affect the fit of the dress if it needs to be adjusted. - Wedding shoes for hem and bustle measurements


How much do alterations cost? There are many factors that go into the cost of the alterations such as what alterations are needed, the type of dress you have and it’s fabrication. Dresses with lace, embellishments and multiple layers are usually more costly because of how labor intensive they can be, as well as how they have to be handled.

Can you steam my dress once the alterations are complete? I do not offer steaming services at this time. That said, the alterations are always completed with enough time before the wedding to have the dress steamed elsewhere, if desired.
